Knigge in Kabul – Theatre Play

UFA – Upset Feminists of Afghanistan is a group of singing feminist men from Afghanistan who demand the impossible: the abolition of capitalist patriarchy, the feminization of politics, economy and culture, a new Afghan-feminist etiquette.
Their strategy: the overthrow of reactionary phallic conditions by means of critical theory and puppetry.

A collaborative theatre production by Max Martens & Jana Papenbroock with AZDAR/Parwaz (Kabul), Berlin 2017
A project by Kunstfest Weimar, the German National Theatre of Weimar & the KULA Compagnie.
