A short documentary on the establishment of an urban food hub in the neighborhood of Berlin Wedding.
Food hubs are decentrally organized spaces where organic regional food is distributed, processed and consumed amongst neighbors through all social classes. They are an attempt at reducing CO2-emissions, sustaining soil and biodiversity, countering industrial agriculture with regenerative farming and community-supported agriculture (CSA model) as well as fostering a diverse community and solidarity in disadvantaged neighborhoods with poor access to healthy food.
